Document control inquiries / Technical assignments / Software access

Tell us what needs to be controlled.Start with the problem, not a sales package.

Need an external document control department, a defined engineering file assignment, or software for your in-house team? Describe your records, systems and desired outcome. We’ll use that information to determine the appropriate next discussion and scope.

How can we assist?

One discipline. Three ways to engage.

You can discuss specialist work or independent software without committing to ongoing document control management.

  1. 01 / Operate

    External Document Control Department

Managed or fractional Document Control as a Service (DCaaS) covering intake, registers, document review, issue, transmittals, vendor records, progress reporting and handover.

  2. 02 / Resolve

    Specialist Services & Document Recovery

Drawing and register QA, issue-history reconstruction, transmittal verification, CAD/PDF packages, EDMS or SharePoint workflows, records migration and turnover.

  3. 03 / Equip

    Software & Automation

Inquire about a module or suite for DWG drawing intelligence, issue verification, engineering data and records continuity. Module availability and file compatibility are reviewed during qualification.

Before the first call

A short project outline is enough.

You do not need a complete scope of work to begin. A few facts help separate an ongoing coverage need from a technical assignment or a software request.

Please do not attach confidential engineering drawings, client records or proprietary document archives to an unsolicited initial email. We can discuss approved transfer and confidentiality requirements before exchanging files.

  1. 01
    Project and team

Project type, engineering discipline, delivery phase and the organization requesting assistance.

  2. 02
    Documents and approximate volume

DWG, PDF, native engineering files, MDR/VDR registers, transmittals, records or correspondence; approximate quantities if known.

  3. 03
    Systems and breakdowns

SharePoint, EDMS or document registers; revision conflicts, approval bottlenecks, incomplete packages or missing evidence.

  4. 04
    Outcome and timing

The deliverable you need, target milestone, time sensitivity and any system-access restrictions.

After first contact

Define the scope before touching the record.

The first discussion establishes whether Azure Tide can assist, what source information is needed, and where technical authority and approvals remain.

  1. Review the requirement.

Understand your current records, operating process, priority and proposed deliverable.

  2. Agree boundaries and file access.

Identify the client’s responsible approvers, relevant system access and appropriate secure transfer.

  3. Determine the appropriate engagement.

Discuss defined technical work, ongoing managed document control or a separate software evaluation.
